Requirements<\/span><\/h3>\n

In the summer of 2019, the FC Bayern living room should be equipped with a new sound system as well as roof lighting. A total of 32 new loudspeakers, each weighing around 1.5 t, were installed under the roof. Six kilometers of LED strips were installed between the sheets in the roof. The edge of the roof (“pressure ring”) was opened and also provided with lighting.<\/p>\n

These two, separately planned projects were completed between January and August 2019 during ongoing operations. While climbers installed lighting and speaker mounts up under the roof, lawn care, events, visitor tours and maintenance work had to be able to proceed as usual on the grass and bleachers below. Implementation<\/span><\/h3>\n

A clocking schedule devised by Companeer gave each loudspeaker craft the time frames needed to carefully execute each step in the process of hanging the new loudspeakers without disrupting the lighting installers’ workflow. The delivery routes and times of materials for both projects on the narrow waiting walkways under the roof also had to be timed.<\/p>\n

Weekly (sometimes twice weekly) meetings with all parties involved, such as planners, contractors, representatives of the ongoing operations (greenkeepers, cleaning, technicians, management visitor tours and events) provided the fine tuning for each of the next days under the moderation of Companeer. When determining work areas for each trade, such things as game day preparations, events and lawn care had to be considered.<\/p>\n
