Due to increased spectator demand, plans were made to increase capacity from 6,791 to 7,600 seats, convert the press area into catering and retail space on the first floor, and convert the staff and ancillary rooms to the press area with an outside staircase in the basement.<\/p>\n<p>In the feedback regarding the building application, it was stated that &#8220;increasing the capacity of the sports hall, based on past experiences, will also result in an increase in pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
